SK-UHD7000 UHD Production Camera

 

Hitachi’s next-generation 4K Ultra HD broadcast and live production camera system incorporates three 2/3”, global shutter CMOS image sensors. Native 4K sensors enables pristine capture of 3840x2160 UHD video. Expanded spectral range with a new prism design and high-performance sensors enables full-range BT.2020 Wide Color Gamut.

Dual 4K and HDTV workflow supports separate controls for Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) High Dynamic Range (HDR) and standard dynamic range (SDR), maximizing production versatility and efficiency. The SK-UHD7000 is ideal for a wide range of applications – from broadcasters archiving their productions, to live production companies striving to offer the utmost quality to their clients, to houses of worship future-proofing their facilities with life-like video.

The CU-UHD7000 CCU connects via full-bandwidth, uncompressed, native 4K signals via SMPTE 311M hybrid fiber optic cable over distances up to 6,500 feet. 12G-SDI, single-link connectivity also provides 4K output directly from the camera head. Integrated HD down-conversion offers 1080p, 1080i, or 720p output for multi-format productions. Embedded audio is available on all SDI outputs and as listen-channels on the intercom. A trunk data interface supports video transport and control of TCP/IP-capable devices. The new camera also retains compatibility with existing Hitachi control panels and third-party control systems.

Control Panels


SU-1000: Master Setup Unit for 12 cameras, expandable to 128 cameras. Provides access to all camera operation and adjustment parameters.


RU-1500VR/JY: Advanced Remote Unit with color touch-screen and network control for demanding, live production environments.


RU-1000: Small form-factor, basic remote control panel.

 

Large Lens Adapter


SA-1100: Heavy-duty, large box lens adapter and system expansion unit for studio and field production. Designed for use with all Hitachi HTDV portable cameras.

VF-L20HD 2 inch color LCD ENG viewfinder. ENG viewfinder attaches directly to camera body with a locking dovetail slide mount.


VF-PBM307 7 inch HD color LCD viewfinder. Uses AT-90, AT-500 or AT-750 mount.


HDF-700H-S1 7 inch HD color LCD viewfinder. Uses AT-750 mount.


HDF-700H-S2 7 inch HD color LCD viewfinder. Uses AT 951 mount.
