Economical HD Production Camera

The Z-HD5000 is Hitachi's most economical, high-performance Studio and Field HDTV production camera. This is a proven, full featured production camera that uses 3) high-resolution, low noise 2/3inch, IT-CCDs. Its lightweight, two-piece dockable camera body offers maximum re-configuration ability. A compact digital fiber transmission system or Hitachi's patented digital Triax enables smaller production facilities to lower their overall system costs.

  • Can operate over lower-cost, single-mode, fiber cable without additional external hardware or cable adapters.

Camera Control Units


Optional configurations of CU-HD1300 CCUs. Suffix F (Fiber), T (Triax) and FT (Fiber and Triax). Available on new CU-HD1300 CCUs.

CU-HD1300-S2 (F,T,FT) Upscaled 4K/UHD output compatible with SMPTE fiber and/or triax camera cable. Dual 12G SDI and Quad Link outputs.

CU-HD1300-S4 (F,T,FT) Media over IP (MoIP). SMPTE ST 2110 IP network transport I/O available with all connected Hitachi HD broadcast cameras.


The SMPTE ber CU-HD550 works with all Hitachi Z & SK cameras. Using a 1080 progressive camera creates a Full HD (1080p60) system. An optional 12G SDI upscaled 4K output is available.


CU-HD500 SMPTE Optical Fiber CCU. Factory configured for either 1080i/480i or 720p/480i.

 

Control Panels


SU-1000: Master Setup Unit for 12 cameras, expandable to 128 cameras. Provides access to all camera operation and adjustment parameters.


RU-1500VR/JY: Advanced Remote Unit with color touch-screen and network control for demanding, live production environments.


Free Ross Dashboard Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Connects to all CCUs that have a RJ-45 connection.


RU-1000: Small form-factor, basic remote control panel.

Large Lens Adapter


SA-1100: Heavy-duty, large box lens adapter and system expansion unit for studio and field production. Designed for use with all Hitachi HTDV portable cameras.

 
 
 

Viewfinders


VF-L20HD 2 inch color LCD ENG viewfinder. ENG viewfinder attaches directly to camera body with a locking dovetail slide mount.


VF-PBM307 7 inch HD color LCD viewfinder. Uses AT-90, AT-500 or AT-750 mount.


HDF-700H-S1 7 inch HD color LCD viewfinder. Uses AT-750 mount.


HDF-700H-S2 7 inch HD color LCD viewfinder. Uses AT 951 mount.
